Birding Inverhuron Provincial Park

From Indigenous peoples of long ago to today’s campers, the area of Inverhuron Provincial Park has attracted people to the Lake Huron shoreline.

Birds come here for habitats from shallow waters to mixed forests, riverbanks, and sand dunes. Their songs accompany walkers exploring trails,

In a small world surrounding the former Nenagh schoolhouse, Antony Christie finds inspiration in an improvised vineyard, in making needed repairs to the well, and in encounters with turkey vultures, smelt, and fireflies.
