Place, time, and opportunity all met in the Bruce Peninsula to start Katharine Ferguson writing. Living in a barn-made-house, she contributed a regular column “A View from the Hayloft” to The Bruce Peninsula Press, and has published short stories in area papers and in The Mysterious Bruce.
In editing The Brucedale Family Reader, Katharine has woven a collection of other writings around her own “Hayloft” views, to create images of the Bruce in all seasons.
